Plant the bulbs in clusters of 5-7 bulbs 4" apart at irregular intervals, about 4" deep in good fertile soil.
Tulips should be planted in Fall twice as deep as the bulb its self.
Depends on how deep you are willing to dig... never said anything about them growing tho
Jonquil is a type of yellow
The scientific or taxonomic name would be Narcissusspp.
Pale Yellow. Jonquil is yellow
All bulbs should be planted at a depth about 3 x the height of the bulb. For example, most daffodil bulbs are 2 inches tall, so the proper planting depth is 6 inches.
Probably squirrels or rabits. That's what eats my plant bulbs.
When planting a daffodil bulb, you have to find a site with full sun or part shade with somewhat fertile and well-drained soil. Plant the bulbs in the fall about 3-6 inches apart. Bear in mind that they will soon be crowding each other. Generally planting is done in the fall, but late winter is OK, too, as long as the ground is not frozen. The bulbs need to be 2 times as deep as the bulb is high. A 2-inch long bulb should be planted 4-inches deep. If the winters are severe, 3-inches of soil above the bulb tip is recommended. In clay soils, don't plant as deeply as in sandy soil. If planted too deeply, the bulb will produce long stems and few flowers.
Operation Jonquil happened in 1943.
Hosta have roots, not a bulb. You need to look at the stem and don't dig the hole any deeper than a foot.
I believe you might be asking about plant bulbs. plant bulbs are bulbous large roots that basically are like onions there is a round root underneath the plant that usually provides food storage for the plant.
