Abigail Adams. She helped man kind by writing letters to people, and helping the people who were injured in the Revolutionary War. Abigail is remembered for many reasons. She married the second president of the United States and was the mother of the sixth president of the United States. Abigail helped people "thinking about women rights and roles". At first, John did not take what Abigail believed in very seriously. She was committed to help women get educated. She was also against slavery. Abigail worked hard for women's rights and did a lot for them.

Because even though he cheated on his wife with Abigail (who was a teenager), he managed to show regret and sadness after the events. He stopped giving in to Abigail and solely focused on the witchcraft. He wanted to help cure the girls.
The was Deborah Sampson as a man, Molly pitcher to serve water to thirsty soldiers, Martha Washington to nurse the sick soldiers and finally Abigail Adams who wrote letters to inform her husband aka john Adams, that the war this and the war that, and yeah. :) teehee (:
This is a very complicated question. John Adams loved and respected his wife very much. He was very faithful to her unlike other revolutionary men (Franklin/Jefferson). He occasionally took her thoughts into consideration which wasn't commonly done in this era. Although, Abigail Adams, his wife wrote a letter to him (I suggest you look it up) called "Remember the Ladies". His response to this letter (which I also suggest you read) probably would not be accepted in today's society.
John Adams did help stop the war. He was more a man of words than a soldier, but he helped to get people involved in the war effort by speaking his mind about certain taxes imposed on the Colonists.
