The Frank family, including Anne Frank, lived in Germany until 1933. They then moved to the Netherlands to escape persecution under the Nazi regime.
Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 12, 1929. She and her family moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1934 to escape rising antisemitism in Germany.
Anne Frank and her family lived in Germany before the Holocaust. They moved to the Netherlands in 1933 to escape the Nazis.
Holland
Anne Frank lived in Amsterdam, Netherlands before going into hiding. Her family lived in a secret annex located behind her father's office building.
Anne Frank's Family members were: Anne Frank (of course) Margot Frank (pronounced Margo, Anne's sister) Edith Frank (Anne and Margot's mother) Otto Frank (Anne and Margot's father, the only person to live after the concentration camps) Hope this helped!!

During the last year of her life, Anne's maternal grandmother came from her home in Aachen to live in Amsterdam with the Frank family. She had terminal cancer. She died in January of 1942.
Anne Frank lived in Amsterdam, Netherlands, not in Germany. She and her family went into hiding during World War II in a hidden annex in Amsterdam to avoid persecution by the Nazi regime.
Anne Frank had three immediate family members. These were her father, Otto Frank, her mother, Edith Hollander Frank, and her sister, Margot Betti Frank. Anne Frank lived from June of 1929 to March of 1945.
She was 4 years old when they moved from Frankfurt, Germany to Aachen, Germany to live with Edith's mom. Then when Otto Frank was settled in Holland, the moved there in 1933. They then went into hiding on July 6, 1942.
Anne Frank did not live in Germany. She lived in a set of attic rooms in a house in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, during the time that it was occupied by German Nazi troops during World War II. To reach the secret rooms the tiny doorway was hidden behind a bookcase. You can visit her house, and enter into her rooms through the doorway, as I and my family did a few years ago, as her house in Amsterdam is now a museum. Sadly, Anne Frank and her family were discovered by the Nazis after her whereabouts was told to the occupying forces by a traitor. She and her family then perished in the German concentration camps before the war ended.
