Bill Gates was a very interesting child. He was an intuitive learner and enjoyed reading. School was not always important for him as a little boy. After he moved to Lakeside Private School in Seattle, Bill got more involved in his education. There he worked hard, and got consistent straight As throughout his middle school and high school experience. Although he had a knack for working hard only on subjects that he personally enjoyed, like math and science. These were effortless and carefree for him.

He spent a lot of time working on early computer projects as well. He was intrigued by early computing and going to the computer labs was undoubtedly his favorite part of the day. His friends, such as Paul Allen, also had similar interests. They also worked on a school scheduling program for their school, and a traffic monitoring system for the city of Seattle called "Traf-O-Data".

Overall, he was a studious, interesting child who worked hard to shape the success he has today.
