Well I am am a student in school reading this book and in chapter 3, Brian saw an l shaped lake and tried to land in it. He hit a ton of trees on the way down, but still managed to land in the lake.

He undid his seat belt and vomited but got out of the plane and swam to the top of the lake before he drowned in the plane from water coming in.
