Britain was very critical of the U.S. inquiry into the sinking of the Titanic. The ship was built in Britain and the British people felt as though the investigation should have been conducted by British people.

How did the celtic people in Britain react to the viking invasion
appeasement
The people on the Titanic were very shocked. Most did not really realize what was going on. They were also, as you probably know, very scared. They saw people around them screaming, crying, and even dying. They did not know if they were going to die or if their loved one was going to die. There are a few site that have quotes from some of the survivors (see Related Links).
they were scared and worried that Britain was going to get invaded next.
1782. Britain did not separate from US it was the US that separated from Britain.
It was often felt that the Americans had no right to subpoena Titanic's crew and conduct an investigation, but it's an unfair opinion. The US owned the Titanic, but the Titanic was run by British safety standards. The US inquiries wanted to find exactly what went wrong, who was to blame, and what could be done to improve ship safety, while the British wished to find out what went wrong, but continue with the shipping business. It was felt by the British that it wasn't any of America's business.

actually US supports Britain
Britain founded and ruled the US for many years. The US was meant to be part of Britain not the other way round.
