It maybe because of the nueropathy associated with CMT. I asked my dentist and he said it is possible they are associated. Doesn't have anything to do with the the doctor that helped discover the disease with the last name tooth. I am only 34 and take good care of my teeth I shouldn't be having so many problems with my teeth. I never had a cavity until I was 19. The last 10 years as my disease has progressed my dental problems have gotten worse.
