I believe it was a steroid overdose. It was something to do with drugs, I know that much. -- NO NO NO! He did not die of a drug overdose. He committed suicide by hanging after murdering his wife and child. The mindset he was in has been rumoured to be because of roid rage. Which has not been proven. What has been proven is Benoit had the brain of an 80 year old with alzheimer's due to years of concussions.
