Cuba is not poor. It thrives. Many low income medical students go to finish their career in Cuba, including some U.S. citizens, in Cuba they get their degrees under one condition: that they go back to their country and treat the poor there, Cuban doctors are some of the best in the world! Because the people work hard for it, they have the best healthcare in the region and their life expectancy is higher than that of the U.S. They preserve their wildlife, and the U.S. citizens don't treat it like a bar or a club ever since the revolution. So why don't you go to Cuba to discover it's riches and beauty for yourself, I'm sure you'll be impressed and have second thoughts about calling it poor.
