After the voyage on the Beagle, Darwin edited and contributed to zoology of the Voyage of H.M.S. Beagle. As part of this work he met and corrosponded with most of the leading natural scientists of his time. His reputation grew largely out of this work.

On his voyage, he studied different species of animals and noticed their differences and adaptations. This affected his views on species because he discovered how species change to best adapt to their environment.

In Charles Darwin's book it says he thought about life where it started the concept of it he questioned of it this led him to making his theory...makes sense lol
