How did France's actions at the end of world war 1 help bring on world war 2?

Well the French were very angry at the Germans because they lost the Franco-Prussian War to them in 1871. They gave the French very harsh terms when they surrendered and France was waiting to get revenge on Germany since then which is why they were anxious to fight the Germans in World War I. So when France won the war along with the other Allied Powers, they made the Germans sign the Treaty of Versailles which inflicted even harsher terms on the Germans than had been given to France after the Franco-Prussian War as revenge. Germany was to pay $30 billion for the war debt and was forced into having a democratic government instead of Kaiser Wilhelm II being their leader. They called the new government the Weimar Republic which was very inefficient when it came to ruling over Germany. Germany then went into a depression similar to the U.S. in the 1930s and brought about the rise of Hitler. He promised that he would make Germany a proud nation again and the people elected him as their leader. And Hitler was very angry about the Treaty of Versailles when the Germans took over France in World War II, he made them sign their surrender in the same train car that the Germans had signed the Treaty of Versailles in at the end of World War I.
