God did it by attacking the empire with ten religiously-debilitating and economically-destructive plagues... followed by the removal of Egypt's military might [Pharaoh and his armies] and their ability to enforce any further restraints and forced labor upon the Israelites.

In other words... God personally stepped in to the affairs of men and "physically" took Egypt out... destroying the military and economic power of the empire.

It was a relatively small-scale "prophetic scenario" that The Bible reveals shall be repeated at the time of the end of God's plan... when God will send plagues once again to destroy the power of all the nations on earth to "deliver and save His elect" and the world from the utter destruction toward which man's governments will otherwise lead it.

"In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE WILL BE DESTROYED. But it will be shortened for the sake of God's chosen ones." (Matt.24:22 NLT New Living Translation)

Study the seven "Trumpet plagues" and the seven "vial plagues" throughout the book of Revelation that lead up to Jesus' return to "deliver" and save His elect and to smash man's governments, which will facilitate the establishment of God's Government on earth:

"...the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: 'The WHOLE WORLD has now become THE KINGDOM OF OUR LORD and of HIS CHRIST, and He will reign forever and ever..." (Rev.11:15 NLT).

God's "method" of His deliverance of Israel from Egypt was a picture and forerunner of what is to come at the time of the end of God's plan of "salvation" for all of mankind. As Moses said to the Israelites at the Red Sea:

"...'Fear ye not, stand still, and SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD..." (Ex.14:13 KJV).
