Gulliver gained entry into the innermost court of the emperor's palace when the emperor summoned him to his presence out of curiosity about Gulliver's small size compared to the inhabitants of Lilliput. The guards escorted him into the court as a guest of the emperor.

The innermost square of the Imperial Court in Beijing is called the Forbidden City. It is a large palace complex that served as the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It consists of numerous buildings and houses the Palace Museum today.
In the royal court, Gulliver's main enemy is Flimnap, the treasurer of Lilliput who is jealous of Gulliver's favor with the emperor and works to undermine him.

Hampton Court Palace is in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Greater London.
The King (or Queen's) court was wherever they were, the court followed them. There were a number of Royal Palaces in Henry's day he but is probably most associated with Hampton Court Palace which he extensively rebuilt to house the court which could number up to 1,000. He was born at Greenwich Palace, lived at Windsor Castle(where he died), Westminster Palace, Whitehall Palace, the Tower of London, St James's Palace, Hatfield House and Baynard's Castle at various stages.
Gulliver was searched before presenting in the royal court to ensure he was not carrying any weapons or posing a threat to the king or other royalty. This was a precautionary measure to protect the safety of the royal family and court.
