they really didn't care at all. they are selffissh.
They didn't feel they were entitled to the islands. They attacked Pearl Harbor to eliminate the US Battle Fleet stationed there.
Feel like someone just ruined everything I had or ever wanted
Few people are alive today that remember that attack. For people of today, it is history.
The Japanese at first greeted this military victory with enthusiasm just as any patriotic citizen .
Dead.
To prevent the US (by eliminating the Battleship Fleet based at Pearl Harbor) from interferring with their plans of conquest.
Mission accomplished.
fricking awesome
Yes they did because they thought they would destroy all of the Navy's war ships and didn't realize the best ships were out to sea.
the americans were really sort of neutral towards the war and did not want to get into it but when pearl harbor happened they felt threatened and felt that they had to protect the safety of their nation and fight.
They felt bad real bad
This is an answer for WW2! Prior to the attack of Pearl Harbor the general view was this was a European problem and in Asia Japan was invading placed they had never heard of so no one really wanted to get involved in something that did not directly affect them. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, the American population resoundingly want nothing but the destruction of the Empire of Japan. It is wrongly taught that the USA also declared war on Germany at the same time. This is not correct we originally only declared war against Japan since they were the ones who attacked us. It was only after Germany and Italy declared war on us did we reciprocate a few days later. Pretty much Americans wanted revenge for Pearl Harbor against those who struck us, no one else.
