Without the death of Jesus, there would be no Christianity. Christianity did not start until after the death of Christ. The teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, died and three days later rose again to become the Messiah. Compelled by a great commission to share the love that the God of this universe had imparted upon them, the disciples began to proclaim this gospel of hope throughout the territory. Thus, from a small group of ordinary men that lived in a small province in Judea about 2000 years ago, the history of the Christian Church began, and the Christian Faith has since spread to the rest of the world. Their gospel message was simple: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).

Jesus desciples loved Him very much. They were loyal and devoted to Him. They also knew that He was the Messiah although they didn't know that he came to die (give his life) for all of us who will put our trust in Him as Savior. They grieved like any of us would, especially because they didn't expect Him to die, knowing that He is God in the flesh. When the tomb was empty after the huge stone was rolled away by Someone great then any man or woman, they were afraid that someone had stolen His body. He appeared to them in the upper room and to many others before he was taken up into Heaven, alive and full of grace and power. They were absolutley amazed. Not an every day thing. They had walked with God. They ate meals with him and baptized many in His name. Any one who calls on the name of Christ shall be saved (accepted as His beloved child and have eternal life). We will see Him again someday. After he went back the deciples went about telling as many as they could that He was risen, He is alive forevermore. They praise HIm and many gave their lives for Him. Judas, one of the desciples, betrayed Him and then went out and hung himself. He did not want Jesus. John 3:16 says: For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son (God in the flesh) that whosoever believes in Him (His precious death on the cross for forgiveness of sin) shall not parish but have everlasting life. He came NOT into the world to condemn the world, but that world through Him may be saved. Praise His name. You are so smart to ask this question. He will welcome you with open arms. If you are so inclined, read the book of John in His Bible. Not 1st, 2nd, or 3rd John but the gospel of John. The forth book in the New Testament. God bless you. I wish you His peace. NCLN

Christianity is the religion that is entirely based on the life of Jesus. Christians believe that although Jesus (that is Christ - which means anointed one) was murdered, that he then rose again and also imparted his own life which is God's life to his disciples. The early church was founded by his disciples. These were men who knew him when he was alive, were disappointed by his death but then he appeared to them and they turned around from being defeated to being able to stand up to persecution and speak up for him. The record of this early transformation is found in the book called The Acts of the Apostles. Christianity essentially witnesses to the same thing today, that is an experience of God's own life given through Jesus.

Without the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ there would be no true Christianity. This is what Christianity is based on. (see I Corinthians 15:12-19). Jesus when He died on the cross took our sins with Him and paid for them at that time, and in His resurrection has come alive once again to sit by the Father's right hand. Christians know that because He was resurrected we will be resurrected on that resurrection day.

It was the culmination of God's sharing of a human existence with humanity. God had lived and died a human life, he had shared our experiences and showed us, as a human man, how to live a good life.

The transformational moment is not so much Christ's death but the resurrection 3 days afterwards .....proving to us that he was who he said he was - God!. If the resurrection had not happened there would be no Christianity.

How did Jesus Christ bring Christianity?

By preaching and healing, and by dying and by rising again, and finally, and this is the main way he 'brought Christianity', by sending the Holy Ghost to his believers.
