God hardend Pharoas heart to not let us go but he proved to pharoa that he was god. With each plague he was answering Pharoas questions "who is this god you speek of" God showed him who was king. At one point pharoa got so upset he said "GO! and ! dont ever want to see your faces again" So the Jews left and god gave them freedom, and protected them.
