Jonas initially feels apprehensive about his new assignment because it is revealed to be the Receiver of Memory, a position with great responsibility and mystery. However, he also feels a sense of curiosity and excitement as he embarks on this new journey.
Jonas is initially shocked and confused by his assignment as the Receiver of Memory. He feels honored and special to be chosen, but also anxious and apprehensive about the responsibilities and challenges that come with the role. Ultimately, he accepts the assignment with a sense of duty and determination to fulfill his role in the community.
Jonas was chosen as the new Receiver of Memory during the Ceremony of Twelve.
Jonas feels a mix of pain and shock the night after receiving the memory of the broken leg. He experiences physical and emotional discomfort from the intense pain of the memory, as well as the realization that the community has been keeping such experiences hidden from him.
Jonas feels joy and exhilaration after experiencing the memories of snow and sledding. It is a positive and new sensation for him, contrasting with the controlled and monotone world he is used to in the Community.
Jonas froze for a moment when he had heard what his assignment was. Jonas consumed with despair. He didn't know what it even was. Jonas excepted his assignment but still hadn't known what it was or meant. He didn't know what was to become of him or what he was to become.
The Giver asks Jonas to forgive him because he feels guilty for the pain and suffering caused by the memories he has transmitted to Jonas. He feels responsible for exposing Jonas to the harsh realities of the world and understands the burden it has placed on him. Asking for forgiveness is his way of seeking reconciliation and redemption for his role in Jonas's suffering.

the feelings of Jonas from his family's feelings are different because Jonas is the receiver and he can feels everybody feelings and have reason of they would feel allot of pain and his family's feelings are different from Jonas because they never feel pain.

Jonas ceases taking his pills because he wants to feel emotions beyond what everyone else feels.
