∙ 11y agoFour of the ways that Julius Caesar improved Rome, or at least tried to improve Rome, were 1) he enlarged the empire by adding Gaul to it. 2) He stabilized the amount of gold and silver in Roman coins. 3) He published the senatorial proceedings in the forum so everyone could know exactly what the senate did when it met. 4) He reformed and stabilized the calendar. In addition he gave the people a reprieve, although brief, from civil wars by defeating Pompey, Cato and Gaius Pompey.
