henry vii
King Henry the 8th. Martin Luther separated from the Catholic church.
It was not Henry 5, but the 8th. He began the Reformation by closing the Catholic Church and taking their assets. The church he created was the Church of England.
Henry the 7th ^.^
It wasn't, Henry's son Edward became king, and he was raised a protestant Anglican.
The Protestant Church of England. He created it so that he could divorce his wives
Because King Henry VIII wanted to divorce his first wife.
He began the church of England because the pope would not allow Henry the viii to divorce Katherine of Aragon.
Henry the VIII was king of England in 1509. He is most known for the separation of the Catholic Church and the Protestant church. This was because Henry VIII wanted to allow divorce. He was married a total of six times.
The Protestants as a whole do not have one unifying leader. Most often each church is lead by the pastor or minister there. There are a few exceptions: in the Mormon faith, the church is generally lead by a large council, though on smaller matters are left to the parish pastor.
King Henry VIII separated the Church in England from the control of the Pope, although he initially did not intend to start an entirely separate Protestant faith. By the time of Queen Elizabeth, the split was permanent and the Church of England was a reality.
First of all, Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is rarely used by the Catholic Church. Secondly, your question makes no sense as neither was an effect of the other. Catholicism was effected by Our Blessed Lord establishing His Church on earth - His Mystical Body (see St. Paul). The protestant religions were an effect of sin on individuals unable to follow Christ's Church and so making up their own in order to live with their sins. Lutheranism was an effect of Martin Luther's, Anglicanism was an effect of King Henry VIII and his daughter, Elizabeth, etc.
