Mark Todd has won Badminton Horse Trials four times! I cant believe it!
Mark Todd's first horse was named "Charlie." He acquired Charlie when he was just a teenager, and the horse played a significant role in Todd's early development as an equestrian. Their partnership laid the foundation for Todd's successful career in eventing, which includes multiple Olympic medals and other prestigious accolades.
Charisma
Sir Mark James Todd grew up around horses. He was a pony club rider in New Zealand as a child. He had planned to become a jockey, but a growth spurt changed his route, and he became an eventer.
That was Mark Todd of New Zealand in Individual Eventing. Todd and Charisma also won bronze at the 1988 Games in Team Eventing along with Margaret Knighton and Enterprise, Tinks Pottinger and Volunteer, and Andrew Bennie and Grayshott.
