Updated AnswerThe first God revelation of Quran to Prophet Mohamed was, in year 610 AD, through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril). Quran revelation through Gabriel continued until year 632 AD (year of prophet Mohamed death).

The long period for full revelation of the Quran (around 22 year s) allowed the Quran to be fully memorized by many Muslims, documented and revised by many Muslims. It was recited in the mosque by prophet Mohamed during the daily five prayers without single letter change. Many Muslims since then until now are memorizing Quran fully without single letter difference. This explain why the Quran remains, and will remain by God will, without single letter change.

Note:

  • Name Mohamed may be spelled Mohammed, Mohammad, Muhammad, or Muhammed.
  • Name Quran may be spelled Quraan, Qura'n, Kuraan, Kuran, Kura'n, Koraan, Koran, or Kora'n.

Answer

Allah, (God), had sent an Angel, Gibreel (Gabriel), who would always go to Prophet Muhammed [PBUH], and he would teach him. The Prophet Muhammed's Miracle was the Qura'an. Muhammed [PBUH] Could not Read nor write, yet he memorised all of the Qura'an. Later on After Many years, people who had memorised, has wrote it down, in Paper. Hence, you have The Book, The Qura'an.
