Mozart's music was very different than other composer's work. He didn't right as much religious music as others. Take his Requiem for example. That music mgiht be sad, but it sounds incredible! So I guess I'm trying to say his music is unique because it just sounded far different then anybody elses. Mozart's music was very different than other composer's work. At the age of 6, he could play the harpsichord and piano, improvise fugues, compose minuets and read music perfectly.

At the age of 8, he wrote a symphony. At 11, an oratorio. At 12 - An Opera.

The fact that his father was a court musician helped this, but he was one of the greatest music prodigies.

He hated being a servant and broke from his position in the court. He composed music of all genres of his time, and was the best at them all.

Mozart's death led in a surge of good reputation as many budding pianists began to study his music. He personally trained Beethoven as well as Johann Nepomuk Hummel. Many composers payed homage to him by creating variations to many of his themes. Joseph Haydn wrote (pertaining to him) that "posterity will not see such a talent again in 100 years."
