Rainwhisker doesn't actually die in a book. In between books he dies by a branch landing on him. Sootfur was killed by a badger after Squirrelflight was thrown of and couldn't help him when he broke his legs and his throat was immediately slit.

Rainwhisker dies in Warriors from a fatal injury sustained during a battle between ThunderClan and WindClan cats. He bravely fights to protect his Clan, but sadly succumbs to his wounds. His death is a sad moment in the series as other cats mourn his loss.

Later on, her daughter Honeyfern died of the snake attack.
