Samuel Adams was considered to be a traitor to the crown by him help founding the United States and did a great deal of political work for the Struggling colonists. Having the guts to dis-obey the crown is pretty rebellious on its own, but adding to his big part in the creation of this country i think that he was as rebellious as can be.
