Sentinel Prime was fictional. That means it was made up, pretend, not real.
Things that are made up, pretend, fictional, and not real, aren't bound by the
laws of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or any other aspect of Nature. They can
just go and do whatever their creator says they're doing. This behavior has
no impact on the laws that the fictional entities defy, and no implication
regarding their veracity.
