Who is army is better South Korea or North Korea?

well north Korea have made nuclear bombs however the country is a very poor country. the soldiers are very short and if they fight against south Korean soldiers it would be a diadvantage for the north Korean. in order to bomb south Korea with nuclear bomb they need planes to drop the bomb but they are so poor that they can move the plane once. also how on earth are they going to feed the soldiers during the war if they are so poor. they have bad missile accuracy so they would lose. North Korea trains the soldiers really hard but their low height would have big disadvantages on them. South Korea are far wealthier country and the country has help from the un especially from USA. Korea's soldiers are taller with bigger and tougher bodies. South Korea has weapons as well like tanks. south Korea is very good at making ships so this would be a big advantage. If the two koreas have war south Korea will get some damage but the victory would be in the south Korean's hands. North Korea has stronger army but would not able to beat south Korea in the war.

Why did the US believe it was necessary to intervene in Korea?

The United States believed it was necessary to intervene in Korea during the Korean War because it wanted to contain the spread of communism. The North Korean invasion of South Korea was seen as a threat to US interests and part of the larger Cold War struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union. Additionally, the US was committed to upholding its alliances and supporting its South Korean ally.

Did you lose the Korean War?

If by you, you mean America, we didn't win or lose. It was sort of like a draw because we didn't lose any land or rights, we just lost people. And if you say that we lost because we lost people, then we have lost every war. America did not achieve one of their goals, but most of their goals of the war were reached. Their goal was to keep North Korea from invading and taking over South Korea, we partially achieved that for quite a while, but we could maintain it. We supplied South Korea with men and supplies, which was one of our goals to keep South Korea confident and fighting. We could have kept fighting and for all we know the war could still be going on today, or it might have just lasted another day. The only reason we retreated our troops is because the war for us had be going on for too long and we really didn't even need to be fighting it. It was between South Korea and North Korea, but America decided to help South Korea a little and once we started to decrease in numbers of troops at a fast rate in multiple years we called it off and let it be between North and South Korea. North Korea succeeded and there was nothing we could do about it. That is also why most of Korea is communist because North Korea wanted to try and make it all communist and they almost succeeded but there is still small portions that did not become communist and there are still disagreements and fights going on in that country. You could say we lost, you could say we won, you could say we tied, but this is what I think and I hope this paragraph helps you further with your question.

Why is North Korea trying to launch a nuclear weapon at the US?

North Korea does not actually intend to use a nuclear weapon against the United States, since there is nothing that North Korea would actually gain from using it. If North Korea launched a nuclear missile at the United States, it would immediately (1) lose the backing of China, which is the only reason that the United States refuses to invade North Korea, (2) start a hot war with the United States whose army could destroy the North Korean military, and (3) make North Korea a complete international pariah.North Korea trades on the threat that it will use a nuclear weapon against South Korea, Japan, and the United States in order to get desperately needed aid money and supplies from its enemies. It is nothing more than an extortion racket that North Korea employs as a method overcome the fact that the country makes no product worthy of export other than ginseng (which nobody wants).

Why did the US lose the Korean War?

The Korean War was not lost (technically it continues) it was stalemated. Both sides signed armistice treaty, which means the war is still going on (you can read the orignal text; it clearly states that the war is not ended); the treaty is now overdue. But, the result of war still shows something: NK, which started the war, did not gain anything or lose anything SK, did not lose its territory, so it should be the winner US, helped SK to defeat NK, but failed to conquer entire Korean peninsula China never declared war on US; its army was called volunteer and the goal of China was defending the border and help NK to defeat US (because US army was very close to Yalu River, NK almost lost its all territory, and China really worried US would invade China after it conquered NK) it's a war with no winner

How did the Korean war achieve its goals even though the war was lost?

War was lost...does not compute. 1. Communists were stopped at the 38th parallel. 2. The Republic of South Korea produces fine automobiles and electronic equipment for the global free market. If the war had been lost...there would be NO ROK today. Define...war was lost?
