The use of aircraft had several very large impacts on warfare.
Aircraft greatly improved reconnaissance, enabling much greater understanding of enemy movements. They also radically increased the distance at which it was possible to attack the enemy. Until aircraft, combat was not generally possible any further than the horizon - that is, fighting could not occur more than about 20 miles from any unit of your armed forces. Aircraft allowed for combat to happen hundreds of miles away from the nearest airbase. Aircraft also heralded the movement towards "total war", where attacking not just military units, but production and support facilities was part of combat.
Overall, aircraft greatly increased the "battle envelope" - that is, the area where combat was possible. This forced a radical re-design of traditional forms of combat, and obsoleted many existing strategies and technologies. It required a whole host of new technologies to combat aircraft, and also to improve aircraft combat itself.
They didn't 'change' the face of the war they just altered it a bit. Back then planes where being used as lucky bombers which mean that they will more luckily get killed than actually throw the bomb anywhere, or just used a reconnaissance and anti aircraft protection for 'hot' targets.
1. Made of metal 2. Faster 3. Deadlier After the Vietnam War: Airplanes can fly by themselves (no human required)
World War 1 introduced aerial warfare with airplanes and trench warfare
There were no airplanes back in the Civil War
there were no airplanes in the word war 1. __ The use of airplanes in the military pre-dates WW1. Airplanes were used for recon, bombing missions and fighters.
World War I was basically a ground war. So only guns and grenades were used. But in World War II, they had better technology, which meant that they had airplanes. With better technology in WWII, it caused more destruction and had less face-to-face combat.
They used airplanes, zepline, observation ballon, radio, and carrier pegions
i think why they use airplanes toprotect them
Although airplanes changed from cloth covered wooden airplanes of WWI into metal airplanes of WWII, as well as more advanced and powerful bombers; the real change was "Naval Warfare." Air power completely eliminated the mighty battleship as a decisive naval weapon. Airplanes (launched from aircraft carriers) became the new naval weapon. WWII may be unique in that it was the only war in history in which aircraft carriers fought aircraft carriers.
Yes but maximum 100ml .
What "industrial war ".
The Japanese armed the airplanes with bombs but at last time, changes to the airplanes to be armed with torpedoes were made when they saw the fleet heading there which was a surprise and made them loose much time in the change.
