At the beginning of WWI, US trade with Europe increased because President Wilson claimed neutrality; the US could trade with both sides. However, once the US became involved, trade decreased.
It failed to keep Adolf Hitler and his Nazis away from other nations. It failed to keep Japan from bombing the US Naval Fleet. The US and the UK had to fight for their freedom and the peace of the world so Europe could be liberated and Asia could be liberated.
Appeasement was one of the main causes of WW2. It was used by Britain's to keep peace from Hitler and the Germans. They tried to keep the Germans happy by pleasing them and giving them what they wanted. This was a very bad idea because Germany got all that they wanted and thought they could get anything and do anything to us without us getting anything in return. They walked all over us and we still had a war and fortuntately won it.By Shannon and Lisa x APEX_Hitler felt unstoppable and continued to expand.

England and the US were allies in WWII against Germany's invasion of Europe and Africa.
They both had an impact. ALL wars will influence/impact their respective generations. Naturally, some will impact more than others. The bloodier the war, the more the impact. WWII, for the US, had more casualties than Vietnam, Vietnam had more casualties than Korea, WWII had more US casualties than WWI did. The US Civil War had more casualties than any of our wars (however, we were fighting ourselves, so one must be careful when using those figures). Casualties aside, it may be said that the greatest impact about WWII was when the world entered the "atomic age", on 06 August 1945, when the atomic bomb was used to end WWII. The war however, had been won. Vietnam's impact may have been that it wasn't.
After WWII, and before the invasion of Pearl Harbor the US committed to remain neutral toward conflicts in Europe because they want to be a peaceful nation. In addition, the American people have voiced there opinion asking the US to remain neutral on conflicts in Europe.
During WWII they just kind of ignored it. They wanted to remain isolated from the conflicts in Europe after WWI.
