Most teens are really into texting. So they usually get the unlimited texting plan. Teens also use their phones for internet, and calling family or friends.

As of 2021, the percentage of teens in the United States who do not have cell phones is quite low, estimated to be around 5-10%. With the increasing importance of smartphones for communication and access to information, this percentage is likely to decrease further in the future.
