There were hundreds of different types of dinosaur, so they did not all find food in the same way. If you want to know how a specific type of dinosaur found food, then type in the same question that you just typed in or clicked on, but instead of the word "dinosaurs", type in the name of the dinosaur you want to find out about.

That depends on the dinosaur's diet. Most were plant eaters, which foraged for different types of foliage. There were some carnivores, however. Small ones hunted insects, larger ones hunted small animals, and the largest hunted large dinosaurs. There is one exception: Spinosaurus, the largest carnivorous dinosaur, ate fish.

Stegosaurus was strictly herbivorous, or plant eating, so it never would have hunted prey. They probably ate mosses, ferns, horsetails, cycads and conifers.

The natural enemies of herbivorous dinosaurs were carnivorous dinosaurs, which hunted them.
