There are as many answers to that as there are Christians. The Acts of the Apostles, from The Bible is largely fiction which contradicts the Epistles of Paul in dozens of places, and Eusebius is totally unreliable.
First and second century church writings paint a bit of a picture, although how complete this picture is remains speculative. Try Didache, Shepherd of Hermas, the Epistles of Clement and Barnabas and the pseudo-Clementines for more information.

God loves you no mater what, and it is good to take a break once and a while
