Expanding democracy, particularly through the expansion of suffrage to white men without property ownership, helped Andrew Jackson gain power. Jackson positioned himself as a champion of the common man and emphasized his populist appeal, appealing to the new, larger voting base. Through his image and rhetoric, Jackson was able to mobilize widespread popular support and win the presidency in 1828 and again in 1832.

Andrew Jackson , he was made president because of it
Jackson supporters believed he should have won the election because they saw him as a champion of the common people and a defender of their interests. They admired his military background, his reputation as a self-made man, and his commitment to expanding democracy. They viewed him as an outsider who could challenge the entrenched political elite and bring much-needed change to the country.
America's democracy seems to be better than the alternatives. What country will we bring democracy to next? Won't anyone vote for democracy here?
Andrew Jackson disobeyed the Supreme Court over removing Native Americans from their land. He fought the idea of a national bank. He threatened to bring the army to South Carolina if it nullified the Tariff bill of 1832.
he was not in favor of banks he knew they would bring trouble... he set up state banks that were called "pet banks" these later resulted in Panic of 1837
By expanding the empire,military,and government
The United States is a country of immigrants and with them came the ideas for a democracy, art, philosophy, foods, music, political figures ( Andrew Jackson's parents were immigrants) , and the makeup of the country. NO ONE who came as colonists was native to North America except the Native Americans. There is a ridiculous idea that the colonists were native to North America, but that is not true. They came from different parts of Europe to establish colonies for various reasons.
Yes. Andrew Johnson brought the North and South together.
to publicly support the drive to bring democracy to South Africa
