How did Gloria get famous?

Gloria Estefan became famous when she joined this group now called, "The Miami Sound Machines." Gloria Estefan and the group, little by little, became famous but she wanted to do more than what she was getting at and she succeeded. One of the first albums was called, "Cuts Both Ways." She still wanted to become better and made 9 more albums! They were called, "Into the Light", "Mi Tierra", "Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me", "Abriendo Puertas", "Destiny", "Gloria!", "Alma Caribeña", "Unwrapped" and "90 Millas". She soon became very famous and was loved by millions.
