if you have watched it you know tha prime died early on so in the final battle jetfire came in late and crash landed he was then attacked by one of the tunnel bots he then was wounded and said "im to old for this crap" then sam ressurected optimas and the fallen came and injured optimus and jetfire said "oh no" then he said take my parts and you will have the power you've never known he then tore out his spark and that's how he died to save optimus
