Ok to sum it up, 1981 Metallica was formed, James, Lars, Dave and some other guy wrote demo's played in bars, went to NY and the west coast and dominated before they even released an album. But since Metallica and there "non-drug" related cry baby attitude towards Dave Mustaine, they fired him on the way to New York. In New York Dave Mustaine then traveled back to L.A. taking a bus. There mid way through the depressing trip. Dave Mustaine met Dave Ellfesson. Ok heres the kicker. While on the bus almost to L.A he was reading a newspaper. On it said "there will be a sure megadeath if these nuclear weapons are released...". Now Dave thought wow this is cool, so he dropped the a in death. MEGADETH was born. Dave created this band to seek revenge on Metallica. In L.A. he got 2 more guys. The band was complete and ready to thrash out his rival band. After all ladies and gentlemen, Dave Mustaine and I'm serious, wrote songs for Kill em All, most of em. Ride the Lightning was his song so was Call of the Kytulu. On Master Of Puppets, he wrote Leper Messiah. Huh tells alot about Metallica huh. Well to wrap it up, Megadeth began by Dave Mustaine's hatred and passion towards not only Metallica but to show the world MEGADETH is the greatest thrash/speed metal band of all time. \m/
