French Rococo artists primarily favored themes of love, leisure, and romance in their paintings. They often depicted scenes of elegant aristocratic life, featuring playful and lighthearted subjects such as mythological figures, pastoral landscapes, and intimate gatherings. This focus on sensuality and grace reflected the opulent lifestyle and values of the French nobility during the 18th century. The style is characterized by its ornate details, vibrant colors, and an emphasis on decorative elements.
Jean-Antoine Watteau was a French Rococo painter renowned for his enchanting scenes of leisure and romance, often depicting elegant figures in lush landscapes. His most famous works, such as "Pilgrimage to Cythera," capture the essence of the Rococo style with their delicate colors and intricate details. Watteau's ability to convey emotion and movement in his compositions set him apart and influenced many artists in the years to come. His unique blend of realism and fantasy defined a significant aspect of 18th-century French art.

The correct order from earliest to most recent is: Renaissance, Rococo, Neoclassicism, and then Surrealism. The Renaissance began in the 14th century, followed by the Rococo movement in the 18th century. Neoclassicism emerged in the late 18th century, and Surrealism developed in the early 20th century.
Here are only a few English artists, as there really weren't any prominent artists in England at that time. George Gower Nicholas Hillard Marcus Gheeraerts the Elder Isaac Oliver Rowland Lockey Hans Holbein the Younger -Holbein was really the most well known English artist of the 16th century, even though he was German and just moved to England. Please note that these are the painting/scuplting artists of the time... Obviously, Shakespeare would be on this list if I were to include playwrights and authors. I recommend just making a list of 1600 artists in England, or the top European artists of the 1500's.
its up on the question
