It doesn't, would be my guess. It's incorrect to assume that all black people listen to rap, or that it affects them as a whole in any way. There are many non-blacks who listen to and are affected by rap music, and there are blacks who do not listen to and are not in any way affected by rap music.

Well cnn is a news broadcast.meaning on the surface that rap is how black people broadcast their news. more than that, rap is a way for black people to represent themselves to the world, serving as a channel for cultural and political expression.

To answer that i would have to say that no you do not have to be an African American to rap. Now saying this leads to the stereotype that is pertrayed which is not right. Yes most black people rap but its because most of them have the skills. It doesn't matter what race you fall under, what matters are the skills and confidence you have.
Rock is white people screaming over electric guitars and drum sets while rap is black people saying rhyming lines over a synthesized beat.
Basically, they are known to have been started in the US. Both rock n roll and rap music were started by black people.
Punk rock is music, that's it, just like rap it dosent make people more violent.
