He tried swearing by the moon. This didn't cut much with Juliet, who said "Swear not by the moon!"
In the beginning the only thing Romeo was worried about was lust because he wanted Rosaline just to use her. When he met Juliet he changed because he found out what love truly is and at the end he would die to save Juliet because he truly loved her
I'd say he glorifies it because if Romeo and Juliet hadn't commited suicide the conflict in the play would have never been resolved.
In Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," Friar John is responsible for the delay in delivering Friar Laurence's message to Romeo about Juliet's fake death. This delay ultimately leads to tragic consequences, as Romeo believes that Juliet is truly dead and takes his own life.
There was miscommunication in "Romeo and Juliet" when Romeo didn't receive Friar Laurence's message explaining Juliet's plan to feign her death. This led to Romeo believing Juliet was truly dead and ultimately taking his own life. Juliet waking to find Romeo dead then led to her taking her own life as well, highlighting the tragic consequences of miscommunication.
Romeo kills himself during Act V Scene III.
Friar John's failure to deliver the letter to Romeo will result in Romeo not receiving crucial information about Juliet's faked death plan. This miscommunication will lead to Romeo believing Juliet is truly dead, causing a tragic chain of events leading to Romeo's and Juliet's deaths.
In Romeo And Juliet, Romeo is sad because he cannot be with his true love - Juliet. Romeo and Juliet's families have argued for years, no one knows the true reason because it was such long ago they started. It was basically unheard of for a Capulet(Juliet's family) and a Montauge (Romeo's family). But their love was so strong that they fought for it. Juliet drank a liquid that made her look dead. A note would be sent out to tell Romeo to look in the Capulet tomb so Romeo And Juliet can run off together. Romeo truly thought Juliet was dead. He drank a dagger and killed himself in the tomb. As Juliet awoke, she saw her love dead. So she also killed herself. -If you are talking about the begining, it is because he couldn't be with roseline, but then he got over it when he saw juliet.
When Romeo arrives at the graveyard, he finds Paris mourning over Juliet's supposed death. Romeo does not realize that Juliet is alive and believes she is truly dead, as he was unaware of Friar Laurence's plan.
Romeo is crying because he believes Juliet is dead. Juliet's family has arranged for her to marry Paris, so Romeo goes to her tomb to say goodbye. When he sees her seemingly lifeless body, he is devastated and believes she is truly dead.
I don't believe Romeo and Juliet is a tale of love, but rather lust. He had just come off of saying he was in "love" with Rosaline. Now the second he sees Juliet, he kisses her a few times and now he says he wants her as his wife. That's not the case. He doesn't want to live with her, he wants sex. Not only does he want to marry in secret, he doesn't even have a plan for their life afterwards. If you think about it, the only reason he wants to marry her is to have sex without ruining either of their reputations.
The story starts with a street fight between Sampson and Gregory, servants to the Capulets and Abraham and Balthasar, servants to the Montague family. And also Romeo was in love with Rosaline at the start. After he has been in a party that held by Capulate, and met Juliet, he falls in love with Juliet.
This line from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet means that if Romeo were not called "Romeo," he would still be the same person. It suggests that a name does not change who someone truly is.
