They used to be called Painface. The only members of Painface that are still in the band are Clown and Paul. A loong time ago, they wrote and recorded 4 or so songs, One of them was called Slipknot. Painface then broke up and reformed a few years later, calling themselves Slipknot after the song. Theres nothing really special.
