there is many different stories on how they met. but i work at SEGA and this is how it goes down, sonic stumbles upon angel island and finds knuckles guarding the master emerald, knuckes mistakes sonic as a threat and they duke it out until they work together to stop eggman from stealing the master emerald, creating a long tem relationship between the two today.
