The flood began around 2370 B.C.E. Moses (who lived long after Noah) completed the writing of Genesis in 1513 B.C.E. Keeping in mind that the B.C.E. years counted downward to 1 C.E. Noah also kept written records of dates, which he apparently kept with him on the ark.
The aquatic animals did survive. That's why they are with us today.
The only possible answer for the survival of these pyramids and for the continuation of the Egyptian civilisation right through the time of Noah's Flood, is that there never was a worldwide flood as portrayed in the Bible.
With enough warning and common sense, most people can survive a flood.
