The black plague marked the beginning of the end of the manor system. Manors experienced labor shortages because people were dying so quickly. There was violence in the manors because people were panicking. The entire medieval society changed as a result of the disease.
The Black Death or Bubonic Plague was devastating, and eliminated over half of Europe's population. As a result of less people, people who had once been bound to the manor, could now go out and get the best price for their labor. Due to the shortage of workers, laborers were very much in demand. This brought about the wage system of labor, and the end of feudalism in Europe.
The black death affected the feudal system because so many peasnts died that nobody was doing the work so the lord had to pay the remaining peasants a ton of money each month.Then eventually the peasnts got enough money so the bought their own land and didnt have to do any more work for the lord.Sooner or later all the peasants were gone and the feudal system was changed and so was everybodys life.
