The Ecliptic goes through it - that is the plane in which Earth moves around the Sun. Other planets in our Solar System are always near the Ecliptic, too.
Its declination is about +20 degrees, meaning it is a bit north of the Celestial Equator. Its right ascension is 7 hours.
All this may not help you much in locating the constellation; the best thing is to have an astronomer friend point it out to you.
This depends on your location on the planet and your local time. A program called Stellarium (free to download and use) gives you a fantastic idea of where every constellation is located in the night sky and at what time. Enjoy!
At night (sorry, couldn't resist). Gemini can be seen most of the year if you pick the right time of night to look. In June and July the sun is moving through Gemini, so it's not visible at night, but from early August through late May it can be seen (just before sunrise in August, just after sunset in May).
Well, Geminis tend to be active so most likely Summer or even spring because it's nice weather to go outdoors and be active.

Gemini is located between Taurus and Cancer on the zodiac belt. It is just above Orion's belt, distinguished by two bright stars Castor and Pollux. It can be seen best rising in the night sky during winter.
Over the course of 24 hours during most of the year, Gemini can be seen in all four hemispheres.
Gemini's zodiac sign is that of twins since they have two sides to them. The animal to best describe a Gemini would be a bird like a parrot. Also in the Chinese horoscope the horse sign is the counterpart to a Gemini.
Cancer can be seen in the Northern & Southern Hemisphere between Leo and Gemini.
Gemini
Gemini is located just up and to the left of Orion during the early evening hours of February and March. Our Sun transits through Gemini starting at the end of June through the end of July.
A Gemini man, of course! But Gemini people can also get along very well with its fellow air signs: Libra and Aquarius.
Well Leo is like fire- fiery and bold whereas Gemini is seen as masculine twins. This is a good match because Leo and Gemini can support each other and live in harmony

The best matches are the Libra's, Aries, Gemini, Aquarius, Sagittarius and Leo.
As our planet is continually rotating, it will depend on the time of year (season) as to where Gemini can be seen in the sky. And as the heavens are incredibly vast, you will be able to see the Constellation Gemini from numerous locations and not just from a solitary location (such as a state).
