yes the depression did affect children. a lot of people who were 15 to 18 years of age had to leave home because their parents couldn't afford to feed them, a lot of teens also left home to try and find work so they could send money back home to help there family's. but most of them regretted it greatly after they left but many never made it home or saw their family's after they left because after awhile most people had to move or were kicked out because they couldn't pay their bills. hope that help's!
