The Jewish people did their best to practice their religion in the concentration camps. Since they no longer knew what day of the week it was they would observe Sabbath one day a week and would recite the Torah from memory.
Those who wanted to and were able to without endangering lives, did so.
some Rabbis managed to perform from memory. In some places religious practices were suspended due to the circumstances.

No one, concentration camps were never and have never been stopped. This may be a reference to Schindler, he employed Jews in his factory, but it did not keep them out of a concentration camp, when the ghetto was cleared, they went to the concentration camp with everyone else, to walk to the factory to work every day.

Well the numering was like a ID number to keep track of all of the Jews or prisoners. Its like your name but, with numbers for them.
If you mean when they went to the Concentration camps, then no. They had to give up anything they brought with them, including the clothes off their backs, and change into prison garb.
I think it was mainly the Germans who used the concentration camps to kill jewish people and to keep people hostage.
If i remember correctly it was Japanise Americans.
