FDR, Churchill, and Stalin worked together as 'The Big Three' to take down Fascist Germany.

Churchill and Stalin were at eachothers' throat but were both willing to work together to take down Hitler. FDR was the mediator between both.

All of them kept little to no records of their meetings and each of the leaders made secret deals with eachother. FDR made such deals with Stalin and when Truman took over after his death, he had no records to look at. (He didn't even know about the Manhattan project.) Truman also was unwilling to listen to Stalin because he was Stalin was the leader of a communist country.

Russia was also the first to actually invade Germany, we met with them in the country in 1944 after fighting in France.
