the black market was an organisation where a little boy would find a way out of the ghetto and into the main part of the city. on the other side there would be someone waiting with food to give to the little boy and in exchange the little boy would give that person something valuable. the boy would then smuggle the food back into to the ghetto to the business man waiting for him, who would give the boy some food for free and then sell the food non something called the black market.
I'm looking for a detailed answer to this question too, but I do know that they were secret trading of things in the nazi ghettos. Sometimes they would trade food or valuables and this was usually this was illegal, but they did it anyway as as means to survive. If you were caught as a trader then you would be killed.

In the ghettos it was said that one could only survive by buying food on the Black Market. Where as it may have been true that people who had multiple offences may have been executed, this was not common. Though anyone caught smuggling stood a high chance of being executed on the spot. The difference being that black marketeers were generally caught in the ghettos (ie by the Jewish order police) and smugglers were caught by the German guards on the borders. There was a lot of trading going on, people sold anything that they could for food, this was not restricted, there was restrictions on how much food one could buy; the Black Market was people/shops selling extra food.
In the camps there was not really a Black Market per se, but there was a lot of trading going on.
