They didn't really stop the black death it just kind of let down. They tried lots of things! Many rituals but they got crazier. Eventually most people died 1/3-1/2 of the population died from it!! Also it just let down mainly causing it to end. Oh yea and they made the people on the boats who brought their supplies who were spreading it wait 30 days and that helped so if they were infected they didn't spread it to their people!!
