the 'great depression obviously affected families very badly & the subsequent fallout was the resulting world war two - but the great depression was the result of a deliberately constructed stock market crash of the late 1920's - the current federal reserve (usa) chairman bernie bernake stated earlier in the year that, that it was a deliberate financial construction (meltdown) - but, he has also been reported as saying that there will not be another stock market crash like that of the great depression - but what about the current hedge fun ds ? - even if they use self regulation to guide them through there current so-called crisis ?
