After Fang leaves, the Flock sort of mope around. Max said she stays in her bedroom with the old computer because Nudge stole the new one. Max seems depressed and mad that Fang left, and she refers to him as a "crap-bag ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend".
She then goes through all of Fang's stuff on his computer that he never deleted, including "Max's Pros and Cons", fan questions (hilarious), the letter to Max rough draft, list of what to get the Flock for their birthdays, and more.

Fang is basically about Max and Angel having a whole who's-the-leader fight. Dr. Hans introduces Dylan to the flock. Then there's a Dylan vs. Fang fight over who gets Max. Then Angel goes over to Hans's side, and helps them capture Fang. By accident, they kill Fang. Max stabs a needle of 100% adrenaline into Fang's heart to save him and Angel stops being so bratty and apologizes. At the very very end (epilogue), Fang leaves to protect the flock from it being all about him and Max and he thinks the flock is better off without him, but they don't think so, and they cry.

Why does fang leave max?
Fang leaves Max because he thinks that by staying near her and the flock he is putting them in danger. Also because when he is around Max they are focused on each other and not on leading the flock.
